A Delt's primary concern is academics. Brothers of Delta Tau Delta are encouraged to attend classes, professor and TA office hours, and to take advantage of on campus academic resources at the Galvin Library and ARC.

Member education and personal development have been vital to the Fraternity since we arrived at IIT in 1901. In 2008 an exciting, innovative program named, "The Road," was created. The five key elements of the Road: Career Development, Personal Leadership, Financial Security, Health and Wellness and Life Skills are concepts applicable to all areas of a Delt’s life.

Strengthening community is essential to our vitality, and we do our best to exemplify that. Our chapter collectively donates hundreds of hours every semester with organizations like the Special Olympics and the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. Delts have had a strong presence in service learning program with the Museum of Science and Industry called IIT@MSI as well as IIT's Alternative Spring Break.

We aim to be highly involved on campus and encourage members to be involved in many student organizations. Our current members lead and participate in organizations including Student Government Association, Greek Council, Union Board, IEEE, Techtonics Accapella, TechNews, Society of Automotive Engineers, Indian Student Association, Skydiving Club, as well as New Student Orientation.

Brotherhood sustains us. The connections we make here last a life-time. Living here is like living with 40 of your best friends. We hold several brotherhood events every semester iincluding a Big Brother/Little Brother Lock-Out, group dinners, movie nights, and Whirley-Ball!

Every year we invite guests to our famous gatherings like the annual Paint Party and Highlighter Party. Whether we are carving pumpkins with the Kappas or having a BBQ with the Alpha Sigs Phi, being socially excellent is our goal!
